Knife rack from Ikea, knives are Gehring

Faucet eurostream pullout (we replaced the builder's)

undercabinet lighting is fluorescent. DH bought relatively inexpensive electronic ballast fixtures at home depot, stripped the housings and mounted the bulb and electronics, (housings were too thick). He hooked it up to the switch panel just outside of the kitchen.

12 potlights as well as 2 pendants

View of island and stools. We got the stools at www.furnituretoronto.com

Diagonal corner cabinet, used mostly for occasional glasses.

Corner susan, All my small apliances fit in here.

Knife rack, from Ikea.

Inside Amana fridge (ignore all the beer, we had just moved in, middle of summer, and lots of frequent guests!)

More inside Amana fridge, lots of room, and food stays fresh for a very long time.

Pot rack on either side of stove, from Ikea.

Vacpan, Jake installed to the central vac, very handy to have.

Frankenstein job of undercabinet lights. The fluorescent housings were too large and showed undercabinet. The slimline ones were too expensive, and we have a lot of undercabinet to cover. We don't recommend this unless you really know what you're doing. The fluorescent bulbs were removed from the housing and mounted directly to the undercabinet using the clips. All wires and electrical connections are in the receptacle box. It's not code, but it is safe.

Close up of receptacle box.

Backsplash tile, this is probably what I'm going with, 5/8" polished marble mosaic.
